I do this exercise of just listening (whiloe pretending not to mind) and eventually would be smiling, amused at the wit in conversations. I am particularly amused when badings talk non-sense – - – it seems they talk with the sole intention of entertaining those who happen to hear the conversation.
Notice too when a gang of teenagers talk, especially when tey are trying to piss each other off. Sometimes it seems like I am watching a gag show on TV. That is why I used to enjoy Ariel & Maverick because the wit is so mababaw and not at all trying to be witty.
